The Briarbrook and Morgan’s Grant Community Association’s biggest event of the year is the annual summer barbecue. But there’s more than just food on the menu.
There is a great line-up of events and activities:
• Kids’ games
• A bouncy slide
• Arts and crafts
• Face painting
• Helium balloons
• A fire truck and tug-of-war with Ottawa Firefighters
• Dog competition (Is your dog the smallest? Or the biggest? Or have the longest fur? Or
the cutest accessory? Bring your four-legged friend to win some treats with some fun
contests!)
• Live martial arts and music performances by STAIRWELL LEO
• Free barbecue and pizza for BMGCA members
• Chips and drinks at a nominal fee
• Child Print fingerprinting and Neighbourhood Watch information
• City of Ottawa and community info booths
