Music At The Drawingroom There have been music events held here since The Drawingroom opened in September 2002. These gigs and festivals have become part of Chesham’s ‘new’ culture. I want to provide a platform to singer songwriters who write and produce their own material. Tony Moore formerly of the Cutting Crew – The man who madeThe Bedford one of London’s premier ‘new and emerging’ music venues – opened and closed the first event finishing with an ‘unplugged’ version of ‘I just died in your arms.’ Since then other rock legends have followed: Les Payne, Finlay Quaye’s writing partner, the amazing guitarist Tom Greenwood, Kirsty Hawkshaw who’s music was used to open the Olympics in Athens. From Acid Jazz to Rock, Classical to Ambient, Every musician has been more than good enough to have performed on television. Several of these musicians have performed on television and in front of audiences several times larger than my capacity of 150.
