South Carolina's own punk rock girl with the voice of a honky-tonk angel embarks on new musical partnership with Brooklyn's "rough-and-tumble upstart with an extraordinary sense of rhythm and a razor-sharp tongue" (PopMatters.com).

"Originally from North Augusta, SC - the town across the river from Augusta, Georgia where he was born, Carey Murdock relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in August 2011 after years of touring based out of Augusta. Sharon Jones, the famed soul singer, called and left him a voicemail to wish him luck on his move to Music City. So far, he has shared the stage with the likes of Mountain Heart, Yarn, and Jessica Lea Mayfield to famed songwriters such as Tony Arata ("The Dance" for Garth Brooks) and Benita Hill (backup vocals for the Allman Brothers and writer of "Two Pina Coladas" for Garth Brooks"). Carey Murdock is currently touring in support of his latest album "Baby Don't Look Down" which was produced by Patrick Blanchard/Shawn Mullins and features Cary Ann Hearst of Shovels & Rope on vocals. Find his album on bandcamp and at www.careymurdock.com"

For 17 years I have been playing with Snake Oil Medicine Show and my heart loves what this band is made up of. We have changed over the years, but our message has been the same. Ambassadors of peace through our music and our art. I love sharing our gift to the people. We have traveled all over to spread the beautiful vibes. I love my musical family sooo much and feel sooo blessed

The venerable V-tones play a wild mix of old Jazz and Swing standards that is throughly enjoyable and highly dance-worthy. All ages seem to respond to this eccentric string band. With the spirit of Vaudeville and pinch of circus, they put the fun in music again!
