The Briarbrook and Morgan’s Grant Community Association’s biggest
event of the year is the annual summer barbecue. But there’s more than just food on the menu.
We have a great line-up of events and activities:
 Kids’ games
 A bouncey slide
 Arts and crafts
 Facepainting
 Helium balloons
 A fire truck and tug-of-war with Ottawa Firefighters
 Dog competition (Is your dog the smallest? Or the biggest? Or have the longest fur? Or
the cutest accessory? Bring your four-legged friend to win some treats with some fun
contests!)
 Live martial arts and music performances by STAIRWELL LEO
 Free barbecue and pizza for BMGCA members
 Chips and drinks at a nominal fee
 Child Print fingerprinting and Neighbourhood Watch information
 City of Ottawa and community info booths
