More info: In books, movies and songs, the archetypes of the cowboy and the frontier have shaped American values like rugged individualism. In recent years, though, historians have revealed a more inclusive West, not centered on heroic white men. Steve explores how a multicultural West might rewrite our values and give us a richer picture of the cowboy.
