COMP TIME

I will be doing my part with a quick but special Compalicous set of original and cover tunes from Noon to 12:45

Why Compilicious? I’m glad you asked. The art of comping:

Some guitarists hone the craft of soloing. Others hone the craft of finger picking. I have studied the guitar from the perspective of rhythms. The COMP of the guitar. Rhythm syncopations are what differentiate genre grooves and I will be exploring a myriad.

R&B comps and Latin comps and Cajun comps R&R comps and comps from Jethro Tull to Bill Withers. I’ll share some of my own designs of comps that you have never-ever heard explored before.

Fan of the guitar? Try this range of rhythms on for size.

I will have a quick 45 minute set, probably 9, 10 tunes, but, however many, each groove will present a unique rhythm unto itself.
