The six-time Blues Music Award winner is coming back to Europe!
The BB King Entertainer Of The Year has already played over 1000 concerts in the USA. The last tours in Europe (2017, 2019) were such a lasting experience for Tommy Castro that he decided to play more concerts with us. On the occasion of his new album, which will be released in early 2021, he is now on his most extensive tour through Europe.
Born in San Jose, California, he started playing the guitar at the age of 10 and is based on Eric Clapton, Elvin Bishop, Mike Bloomfield and other blues rockers. He later took inspiration from Muddy Waters, BB King, Freddie King, Buddy Guy and Elmo James . His role models in singing are Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett, James Brown and many more.
At the age of 20 he began to develop his own style with all the influences mentioned. An extravagant mix of blues and soul that is second to none. He describes his style as "Funky Southern Soul, Big City Blues and Classic Rock".
As part of the upcoming “Europe Tour 2021”, Tommy Castro and his band The Painkillers will celebrate their unique style in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Poland and Slovakia.
