There might not be a band that has won more blues awards than Rick and his Nightcats. This band is better than most of the rest. Kid Andersen is maybe the best blues guitar player on the planet. At the upcoming US Blues Music Awards, the band and its members are nominated for eight awards for 'Band of the Year', 'Album of the Year', 'Entertainer of the Year'.
