This is NOT a Tin Pan South event, but some people think it's like Tin Pan South every week here. Wednesday, April 4, and every Wednesday, noon to 8 pm at Bobby's Idle Hour, 1028 16th Ave. S., Nashville, TN 37212, I get to play and host 8 hours of original music from songwriters, local and from around the world, live at SAM'S JAMS AT BOBBY'S IDLE HOUR for THE weekly mini-songwriter festival on legendary Music Row! It's known to the real-deal songwriters as ground zero! You'll hear hit songs and songs that should be hits by the folks who actually wrote 'em! There's a signup sheet for walk-ins in case there's room in the schedule to fit any others in, but the lineup starts forming and gets pretty full from time slot requests through email starting 7 days before to Sam Cooper at jericat@yahoo.com up until the evening before.
