After spending the 1980s earning his stripes as a pop guitarist with Oh-OK and Lloyd Cole as well as a solo artist, Matthew Sweet emerged in 1991 as the leading figure of the American power pop revival. Sweet’s third album 'Girlfriend' became a critical and commercial hit with its title track reaching the Top Five on the Modern Rock charts. His total 11 records are successful, critically acclaimed albums that have kept his fan base alive throughout his long career. Sweet is currently writing and recording another album. We're excited to have him back in Sellersville!
