Dearest Home and the Buc Hill Aces will entertain us with popular American music from the 19th Century. With lovely period songs, Appalachian ballads and sprightly dance tunes that recall homelands across the sea, these two local bands will create a delightful and danceable evening.Join us for a gracious evening of music and dance from an era that's "gone with the wind." It's a very special event that supports future SFMS programming.
150 years ago this spring, people on both sides of the Mason-Dixon line were thankful for the end of the long Civil War and the promise of better times ahead. We celebrate as they might have: with good friends, live music, delicious food, and genteel Southern hospitality in the Gallery at the Appalachian Brewing Company, 50 North Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101.
Susquehanna Folk's popular Silent Auction returns, featuring an array of items reflecting the spirit and traditions of South-Central Pennsylvania: one-of-a-kind artisan items, theater tickets, and even opportunities to host a musical house party of your own.
