A Celtic First Night! Celtic songs, carols, jigs, reels and polkas from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and North America to ring in the New Year and celebrate the 7th Day of Christmas. Sing along, tap your toes, and even dance in the aisles! And don't forget to move to Gettysburg Square to hear Margaret Folkemer sing Auld Lang Syne and see the fireworks at midnight! 10:30-11:30pm. Cormorant's Fancy is Margaret Folkemer, Stephen and Beth Folkemer, Chuck Krepley and Dan Diviney.This hour is part of an evening-long celebration in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church for the Gettysburg Community New Year's Eve celebration. 7:00 to 7:45 -- music: Gettysburg Community Theatre presents "American Pop Forever: Songs of the 50's, 60's, 70's and today!"
8:30 to 9:15 -- magician -- Joe ‘The Professor’ Kerrigan, Civil War–era magic
9:30 to 10:15 -- sing-along -- seasonal and traditional songs led by Christ Lutheran musicians
10:30 to 11:30 -- music performance by Cormorants Fancy --folk, Celtic and seasonal tunes
11:40 to 11:50 -- a brief worship service to thank God for our blessings in 2013, and to seek God’s guidance and blessings in 2014
Social Room, ground floor
7:30 to midnight -- free refreshments and fellowship -- an ideal place to meet friends and neighbors, and to get in from the cold
