Sayler Park Sustains Festival is a community-driven labor of love, organized by a of couple residents in the community and supported by Sayler Park Village Council, local businesses, and the efforts of our volunteers. In an effort to foster neighborhood engagement, educate residents in sustainable and Earth-first practices, entertain with free music and activities for kids, and offer a dynamic experience with food trucks, local beer, vendors, and raffles, those who make Sayler Park Sustains happen work hard most of the year to offer something special for the area, and all of this happens in beautiful Nelson Sayler Memorial Park one day a year. Any monies raised go back into the community in order to fund green initiatives. Last year, Sayler Park Elementary began a school garden, and community garden, Paper Street Farm, was able to expand.

“A sense of Yin/Yang between the two is what makes Shiny and the Spoon’s music so clever. Like Johnny and June Carter Cash, they have a natural chemistry that makes their Folk/Pop sound an easily blended creation, with smooth harmonies, catchy melodies and a subtle style that’s their own unique merry-go-round.”
