September is the dynamic collaboration of trio... Lisa “Blu” Warda (lead vocals, drums), Lucille Wurtz (guitar) and Sally Nero (bass). Based in Philadelphia, September has worked with leading producers such as Ian Cross (Gwen Stefani, Usher, Janet Jackson), Joe Mattis (U2, The Who, Iggy Pop), and Andy “Stoker” Growcott (Sting, ZZ Top, Queen Latifah). From an early age, music was the primary outlet for self-expression and truth. While September continues to evolve as a solid songwriting team, raw simplicity and emotional honesty still lay the foundation for each song. Delicate pairings of bright moments with dark imagery shine through on the group’s latest compositions. Exuding power without pretense, the band breathes life into each creation. Compelling, fluid, wild, electric…uncover the soul that is September.
