    Hope for Them Foundation Presents: Acts of Kindness at the Abbott House. From the New York Daily News: IRVINGTON, NEW YORK—Abbott House is setting the stage for a two-part concert series presented by the Hope for Them Foundation. The show is a tribute to all that are in pain, have disabilities and for those that need a little help along the way. The first show will be Tuesday, February 28 at 11:00 am followed by an encore presentation on Tuesday, March 6 at 7:00 pm. Performances by recording artists Jennifer Logue, Baby Triggy, Pete Pidgeon, Sean Murphy and Joyy “The men and women in our Services for People with Developmental Disabilities will be absolutely delighted to partake in such an exciting musical event,” said Abbott House President & CEO Claude B. Meyers, who last welcomed the Hope for Them Foundation artists to the agency in 2009. “Although the capabilities of our consumers vary greatly, music is the universal language and can help break down social constructs allowing our consumers to better socialize with each other and staff.” The Hope for Them Foundation founder Mike Jean is working to create a better world for the less fortunate. Hope primarily provides disaster relief to areas around the world, but also works locally to improve the lives of people in need. About Abbott House: Founded in 1963 and currently celebrating 49 years of service, Abbott House improves the lives of children and families in crisis and people with developmental disabilities. The Services for People with Developmental Disabilities program operates 16 residences and two day habilitation programs, serving over 100 adults with developmental disabilities.
