Do you remember when you were lost in the innocence of childhood and just picked up a pillow and walloped the closest person? We do! Dusty June and Embodiment, along with Torin Hofmann (and half the artistic and creative community of Louisville) present : THE SECOND ANNUAL PILLOWS FOR A CURE CHARITABLE PILLOWFIGHT This all-ages event grows every day! With 100% of the proceeds of the pillowfight going to http://www.courageouskids.org/. The executive producer of the Fender's Den Radio show and co-owner of Embodiment PR and FX, Dusty June, learned last year that her son Griffin showed some of the signs of having Tethered Spinal Cord Syndrome. He is happy10 year old boy who has never met a stranger. This is a disabling and painful disorder so we are fighting back. Torin Hofmann, Griffin's older brother, has decided to help other children in Griffin's name. We have assembled a huge group of people to make this event EPIC!!! Though Griffin has not been officially diagnosed with TSCS, it was infuriating to learn that there was little awareness about this terrible disorder!!! So we have assembled a ton of people to help make this event inspiring and fun!!! Last year was an amazing event, with laughter, tears, triumph and of course PILLOWS!!!!!! This event will take place on September 3rd. It is a family friendly event but in a ROCKIN way!
ROCK AND ROLLING AND ENJOYING THE GOOD TIMES.
