“Scotty Isaacs plays Cain's Ballroom show with heartfelt sound, soaring ballads: Scotty Isaacs' gossamer vocals, which recall the likes of Coldplay's Chris Martin, are tender as a lover's caress as the frontman pines for his girl in the soaring ballad "Once in a Dream." Toward the end of that emotional song, which closes out the new live disc "There You Are," Isaacs told the Boston's crowd, "You know, it feels really good to be loved. If you've ever felt true love, it's unstoppable." The lover of amore, whose group culls inspiration from the likes of Coldplay, Travis and U2, went on to tell the fans he felt their love and then asked them to "end this night together, singing to each other." At show's end, the passionate crooner declared "Thank you. Thank you so much. We love you." Even more than its recorded offerings, Isaacs said he wants the band to be known for that sort of live show -- one that accomplishes more than simply entertaining fans.”
