Molly Annea' Kangeter-Malinowsky
Listening to your songs brings this old JorjaGal home. Back to the island were I was raised to the sands of Folly Beach with her crashing waves. Every song makes my heart sing, smile and even shed a few tears. I remember Scott as a sweet young boy with sad brown eyes. I would watch him in performance during school presentations. Such confidence, such composure and so much talent. They always say, "The best thing to write about, is what you know." Scott Miller is the perfect example. His "Life on the Island," encapsulates the very life of James Island. You can tell, every song is from the heart and from experience. For a person to share such deep, personal experience with his friends and family, it's truly a gift. I'm 1780 miles away in Guthrie, Oklahoma and you can bet, I'm telling any and everyone who will listen to kick back and enjoy the ride. Thanks Scott, for bringing my home to me, so far away. I don't go to sleep unless I've listened to your songs every night. Love you Scoota.
