Scott Dale is a singer-songwriter living in Boulder, CO where he has been part of the scene since the late 70's. Scott's Oklahoma roots are evident in his skillful songwriting and guitar playing but his album-rock heritage tips the genre scale a bit more toward rock than country.
In 2012 Scott founded a new band, Acoustic Ambush that became a very popular band in Boulder playing downtown bars and breweries, often in "ambush" mode showing up unannounced and creating a huge party for thankful bar operators.
Post-pandemic in 2021 Scott branched out for a new project "Head West" focusing more on his passions of jam band covers and Americana Rock.
Flavors of the 1970’s West Coast music scene lace Scott’s music- influences from CSNY, Grateful Dead, Jackson Browne, Neil Young, Poco, Lyle Lovett, Eagles, and even a little Led Zeppelin. Laced in among his originals, Scott's shows mix in plenty of favorite covers from the Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Hot Tuna, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, and more.
Scott loves playin anything from solo to duos and loves to bring his full 5-piece band when space and budget allows.
