My love for music began with my father, Johnny “Camp” Keen. Stories of his performing days planted a seed that continues to grow. I was inspired by the soulful sounds of Teddy Pendergrass and Luther Vandross, while Luke Campbell encouraged me to believe in myself and rise beyond my circumstances.
My faith has guided me throughout my journey. The influence of Pastor Caesar and the legacy of my cousin, legendary Gospel singer Mahalia Jackson, remind me to keep God at the center of my life and music.
From R&B and Soul to Gospel and Contemporary Gospel, I love music that makes you feel something real. Every song shares a piece of my heart and, I hope, touches someone else’s.
