Formed in 2002 on São Miguel Island, in the Azores, Sanctus Nosferatu forged its identity within extreme music by blending the brutality of Thrash, Death, and Black Metal with dense atmospheres and obscure concepts. Since the very beginning, the band has transformed sonic aggression and conceptual depth into its defining artistic trademark.
The band began its recording journey with the promo track “Revelation”, released in 2006, later solidifying its artistic vision with the album “SAMCA”, released in 2012.
The current lineup features Nuno Carreiro on bass, Rúben Ferreira and João Raposo on guitars, and Brazilian vocalist Jota Fortinho — the musicians responsible for leading this new chapter and bringing to life the material that will shape the band’s upcoming EP.
The single “1.E4” was recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by Tiago Alves at Waveyard Studio. The cover artwork and lyric video were created by Jota Fortinho, while the promotional photography was captured by Stepan Kobyakin.
