About the Artist

Ruth has been a performer for most of her life and trained as a singer/dancer/songwriter as well as gaining much experience in the fields. Her jobs have included supporting Westlife, appearing in Corrine Bailey Rae's video and in a film called Everybody Loves Sunshine featuring David Bowie and Goldie. Ruth has been writing, recording and performing her own songs since having her daughter Tomisha in 2000. Along with co-writer and producer , Neil Preston, she has been successful in the U.K song writing Contest five times. Ruth's vision "World Music Ministry" has come to fruition. Whilst continuing to get her own songs out there, she works as a vocal coach at Hamilton Street Methodist Church and a dance teacher at Save The Family. Ruth's vision is that World Music Ministry will reach the world with the Gospel through the music created. Ruth is Dee Team leader and a Sunday presenter for Chester's Dee 106.3 and has recently been taken on by Stark Talent in Manchester to do TV work.
