(V-M.G., D: Voc., guit., harm.; Piotr Pete Black Iskrowicz, PL: Lead guit., Mike Watts, USA: Bass; OMM Dicarlo, USA/Göksel Seven, D: Drums )
I ONCE UPON A TIME
the first chapter of a life story began - as most lives´ stories do- with the birth of Bro. V.-Michael MADG.
It was a while ago in the midst of the woods of the Black Forest when the boy grew up playing early with many Rock, Blues and Jazz musicians who influenced him.
Being just a youngster he joined the local heroes live on stage and at studio recordings and soon became one of the most requested harmonica players.
II THE TALAR WAS TOO LARGE, THE CHURCH WALLS INSIDE TOO TIGHT,
SO HE REACHED FAR OUT BEYOND THE CHURCH WALLS INTO THE WIDE WORLD....
Writing, performing, touring as "ROCK & ROLL PREACHER & POET" the mission goes on since 1984 when he started studying theology at the University of Tübingen and graduating at "Humboldt University" of Berlin between 1992 and `94 interrupting his exams for a live music tour and later graduating successfully as Magister theologiae.
He travelled and rocked many countries, cities and venues at Festivals (Harley Davidson Free Willy Run; Open airs in Crema, Milano, Piacenza, Padua, Wels, Linz, Munich; SWR 3 stage Stuttgart, St. Michaelis HH, SAT 1 Stage Rathausplatz , HH etc. pp.).
Rockin´ with many friends among the greats of Rock, Blues, Jazz, Gospel (musicians of bands such as Judas Priest, James Kottak, Pawel Maciwoda (both Scorpions), Jethro Tull, Frank Zappa´s Mothers of Invention, Mick Taylor, Roy Harrington, Richard Howard (Sting), Jimi Black, Bob Lennox, Blondie Chaplin, Adam Bomb, Till Brönner, Hollywood star actor and songwriter Reiner Schoene, Queen Yahna, Donna Brown, Golden Gospel Singers, Franz De Byl, Vince Weber, Guitar Crusher, Eb Davis, Johnny Berlin and uncountable more .....
Performing in front of TV cameras he always refused to do commercial mainstream music just for success… The message combined with music he loves has alway been the most important thing to him.
Since
2003 he was nominated at least three or four times times as "Poet of the year" in the USA.
Noble House publishers N.Y., London, Paris asked permissinon to publish his lyrics in a poetry edition in the U.K. and the U.S....
Between 2005 and 2007 he used to be a protagonist in the LOLA (filmmaker Lothar Lambert) movie
"As showtime goes by".
2010 RRP and band were the first Rock formation to perform at the opera house of Wroclaw together with a jewish classical ensemble and Queen Yahna´s Gospel group.
2014: RRP and his A-MEN were invitetd to headline the Indenpendence Day Festival in Dhaka in front of tens of thousands of people. A great honor for a christian preacher and rocker in a country with a majority of a muslim population.
Nov. 2015 U.S. music industry award winner for the best Rock song, Akademia L.A. ....
To be continued....(by God´s grace!) ;)
III WHAT IT´S ALL ABOUT - AND WHAT IT´S LIKE TO BE TO BE AN OUTSIDER
Being a christian preacher his vision is to reach out and touch the hearts of people with different cultural or religious backgrounds to share the love and goodness of God (who invented all kinds of good music, such as Rock & Roll,.... ; )
He had even some muslim bros. singing along "Halleluyah" performing the song "Universal ONE".....
There are not many christian artists who had that happen...
Musically his A-MEN- Band. all legendary Rock-, Blues-, Soul- and Funk musicians- and the RRP himself love to kick ass on a high level and thru different genres, preferably Rock `n Roll.
After lots of shows, recordings with many great and lots of "big name"
artists and after human tragedies like the suicide of his dad and losing the love of his life the title "God´s love´s still on the horizon" is Bro. V.-Michael´s life confession (see song list) - every song has been written by life itself!!!

Short Bio DEUTSCH:
Rockin´ for "The Rock that never rolls: Yeshua/JESUS!!!" ist das Motto und zugleich ein Songtitel !!!
