Detailed Bio...
After performing nearly every weekend during his High School years Rob garnered a full scholarship to Morehead State University (MSU) in Morehead, Kentucky. Rob took on an impressive Triple Major: Jazz Guitar, Classical Guitar, and Music Theory & Composition. As a Freshman, Rob found himself getting the nod to be placed in the Top spots in their Music Lab Programs. Rob also taught Class Guitar while at MSU. He was fortunate enough to be part of the Percussion Ensemble at MSU travelling with them to NYC, and a dozen towns in between, to perform at a variety of venues. Such a great experience.
After college Rob moved to Nashville, TN to try to break into the studio musician world. Rob was able to do studio work in some of their premier studios like Woodland Sound, Sound Stage, and a host of studios up and down Music Row. Rob also found an outlet for his song writing acumen. Rob was inducted into BMI by Dale Bryant himself for Rob’s work on an album called London Side of Nashville. Two of Rob’s songs appeared on that LP. Love Don’t Work, and Young Love. While in Nashville Rob and his band opened for many National and International Rock Acts that came through Nashville, along with packing clubs in town and on the road. Rob could often be seen at the Spring Water, Blue Bird Café, Cantrells, Elliston Square, the Exit In, Ringside Seat, 12th and Porter, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, their annual One For the Sun concerts and the Electric Cowboy Festival. That’s just in town. His band also represented Tennessee at the World’s Fair in Knoxville, TN. Awesome experience.
Rob left Nashville to be closer to his parents in Florida. Rob continued playing music playing at festivals, special events, and many, many clubs all throughout Florida. During this time, Rob had the pleasure of opening for Poco, and it was a wonderful show. Rob was playing jazz at that time with a 5 piece group/ Blue Jazzmen based out of Jacksonville. Rob went on to record a much coveted CD entitle “Me My Guitar and You” which is a wonderfully relaxing CD featuring Rob playing Classical guitar on a variety of styles also showcasing some of his writing, and playing skills. No overdubs on that one… Rob has been a part of the infamous “All Star Orchestra” based out of Jacksonville, Fl. Rob has performed with them for nearly 20 years playing at many venues, most memorably the annual opening of the Nights of Lights ceremony in St. Augustine, Florida. That is a well attended event garnering worldwide recognition as one of the top 10 Christmas light ceremonies/displays in the world. This draws a tremendous audience sometimes upwards of 15,000 in attendance. Closer to home Rob has regularly played at the Blue Crab Festival, Azealia Festival, the 4th of July celebrations in St. Augustine, the Blueberry Festival, and an assortment of Art and Music festivals throughout North Central Florida to Southern Georgia.
Currently Rob is doing quite a few things including recording, shopping songs, producing videos, and promoting his music to a Global Audience. Most
