In addition to performing in electrified surf rock and country bands such as Lawndale and The Rick Lawndale Band as well as cover bands such as Backtracks and, Nation Culture and Traveling Troubadors , Rick has always maintained an interest in acoustic music .His first live performances , in fact, were at the open mics of such legendary clubs as the Palomino and The Improv in the early 1980's.
These tunes include performances by stellar musicians - Oscar Rospide on accordion and keyboards, The Italian Stallion on keys, Bobby Holley (Funky) on sax, Gene Williams on harmonica, acoustic, banjo and mandolin and Rick Sepulveda on acoustic and mandolin.
