I am a retired pastor and pastoral counselor who has played music all along the way. After having a stroke, heart attack, and quad by-pass in 2010. My wife, Gail, who is a nurse, stayed with me in Hospital for five weeks, then drove me to rehab and helped me when unable to walk, talk, or move my right side pushing me in a wheelchair. After extensive rehabilitation, I began to use music to help me rehabilitate myself. During this time, our 4 children and 7 grandchildren gave me/us happiness and hope toward healing and life. Today I play as often as I can locally. (Reduced substantially by Covid 19.) Before Covid I played open mics at The Grey Eagle, The Sly Grog, Bean Streets, Green Sage, The Social, Foggy Mt. Brew Pub, and others.
