"Open Up The Door" New York singer Regina Bonelli released her debut CD. Besides providing the vocals Regina also plays organ and piano. The production is done by Michael Hill (Michael Hill's Blues Mob), who also takes care of the guitar. In that respect she is in good hands. Regina has a powerful and soulful voice, with which she fills the songs with soul and blues. The CD contains ten great songs, which are all moving in the blues and soul pattern. Up-tempo, funky and ballads interchange, leaving plenty of variation. Regina is accompanied by an excellent band, complete with a horn section, which strengthens the soul feeling. My favorite songs are "Daddy I'm A Big Girl Now" - what a voice - and the beautiful slow blues "Usin ''. An excellent debut with ten great songs. Definitely worth of being listened to."
