Red Bacteria Vacuum Oneman show! on Nov.4th at Sangenjaya Heavens Door in Tokyo! Be there by 7pm or we eat you!
“Formed in Osaka in 1998, Red Bacteria Vacuum is a three member, all-girl band. Their sound is heavy, placing them in the punk/garage category, but their keen melodic sense, harmonies, and smart pop hooks give show that they listen to just as much Green Day (not surprisingly, they play on the Green Day tribute album Green Dayz 2) and Nirvana as they do Sex Pistols and Black Flag. After slogging it out in Osaka for several years, the band relocated to Tokyo in 2002, where they expanded their fan base and released their first mini-album, entitled Killer Dust. The following year they dropped the Roller Coaster EP. The record was also released in the United States under the same name, and the band did a west coast tour in support. In 2006, they played their first shows as headliners. Red Bacteria Vacuum continues to record and tour Japan and the United States in addition to running their own label, GUZGUZ records, which released their first full-length record entitled Dolly Dolly, make”
