Red Afternoon opens the show at 9:30PM followed by special guest Canary In The Coalmine. Mojo Kitchen announces that it will host a weekly entertainment series called “The Armadillo Ball” This series will be a tribute to the music of the critically acclaimed PBS series Austin City Limits. Austin City Limits has been the home for alt-country, americana , roots music, blues and Texas ’ style country spanning three decades. The house band, Red Afternoon , will be covering the music of such greats as Willie Nelson, Wilco, Uncle Tupelo, Lucinda Williams, Ryan Adams, Drive-by Truckers, Steve Earle, Robert Earl Keen, Alejandro Escovedo, Guy Clark, Justin Townes Earle and many more artists who have appeared on the show. Frequently guest artists will join the lineup along with Red Afternoon to perform covers and their own original tunes, music that gets its inspiration from the great tradition of Austin City Limits.
