Randy Soffar is a Texas singer/ songwriter. Growing up in Houston he was exposed to many great songwriters at the "Old Quarter", a club his uncle Dale Soffar and Rex Bell had on the corner of Austin and Congress. Players like Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark and Steve Earl were just a few of the greats that performed and honed their skills there . As Founding member of the Band Z-Rocks, writing their hit "The Teacher's A Punk", Randy has toured and performed shows with major acts the likes of Duran Duran, U2, The Romantics, Huey Lewis and The News, The Ramones, Golden Earing, Sparks, and many more. Currently writing, producing and creating new material he has recently released a couple new projects. "The Mean Old Dogs" and "So Far The Sharks".
