Randy Adams is a singer/songwriter from Bardstown, Kentucky. After buying a guitar during his freshman year of college, Randy began writing songs for his own entertainment. After playing some songs around a small gathering of friends Randy was asked to play his song, "James Dean", at a friend's wedding. The reaction he drew was enough for Randy to get serious about his writing and to pursue songwriting as a means of income.
Randy draws influence from all genres of music, not just country. He grew up listening to southern rock, punk, classic country, alternative rock, and hip hop. His current influences are Ryan Bingham, Mumford and Sons, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Ryan Adams, Griffin House, and many more. Although he never sits down to write in a specific genre, his music is infused at times with classic country, R&B, and rock.
Randy is a member of Nashville Songwriters Association International and his goal is to get his song cut by a recording artist on a major recording label.
