Rachel Roberts is a singer-songwriter-guitarist from Akron, OH. She has released two solo albums, Ripe n’ Juicy and Lightning Loves the Kite, and two LPs with her former bands Rachel’s Secret Stache and Sexis Sixes. Roberts has performed thousands of shows nationally and has worked with advertising agency Leo Burnett to create songs for clients like Effen Vodka and Procter & Gamble. She has shared stages with rock legends including Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders, The Black Keys, DEVO, Freddie Salem, Joseph Arthur, and Rusted Root.
In 2022, Rachel received her MFA in Creative Nonfiction from The University of Akron. She intends to publish a collection of inspirational essays surrounding songwriting, singing, and the creative lifestyle. Roberts performs solo acoustic, with her rock band, Rachel Roberts and the Ruthless, and with her 50s-60s duo, The Babies in Black.
Rachel Roberts is currently recording and producing a third album at Electric Company Industries in Akron.
