They also give local, regional and national performers a place to showcase their music, songs, spoken word, comedy and visual arts. Since its inception parties have been held in Texas, Arizona, California, Oregon, Utah, Idaho and Washington State. This is the festivals’ first time in Virginia. Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor are well known for developing a syncopated style of music that incorporates up beat dance tunes with tongue-in-cheek lyrics and Louisiana storytelling. Touring extensively over the years, their current releases are the blues tunes “U Got Me Doin’ What U Want” and “The Baton Rouge Theme Song.” Fan favorites include “2 Many Women,” “Ugly Man” and “Limbo,” along with romantic ballads that include “I Might Just Let You Go.”
