Prairie Anthem is the collective vision of two musical artists with a lifetime of experience and love for the music. Steve Poynter is a gifted singer songwriter who recently retired from a 40 year career and is now able to dedicate his time to family, music and songwriting. Brad Borg is a fine guitarist and vocalist who has played in a variety of musical settings, taught guitar at the West Bank School of Music and created an independent jazz recording label that released over 40 titles that were distributed internationally. Together, Brad and Steve create harmonies that blend in a way similar to the Everly Brothers or the Eagles. It is often difficult to tell who is singing which part. Add to this Steve's original compositions and you have a true tour de force to be reckoned with. Their goal is to create authentic music that touches the hearts of their listeners and maybe takes them back to great times when the music really mattered.
