PoppaFunkBand pays tribute to the blues, jazz, and funk stylings of New Orleans - with a twist - artists like Dr. John, The Neville Bothers, James Brown, and adding some soul and pop to the gumbo. Chris "PoppaFunk" on guitar and vocals is a veteran of the NYC music scene. He has been a performer on the same bill as Damian Marley and local reggae legend Ossie Dellimore, among others. Robin Jill on vocals is a frequent collaborator having many local gigs under her belt. PFB is available for your event -- Go to GigSalad.com and put in PoppaFunkBand (all one word).
