PoppaFunkBand pays energetic tribute to the blues, jazz, and funk stylings of New Orleans - artists like Dr. John, The Neville Bothers, James Brown, and adding some soul and pop to the gumbo. Chris "PoppaFunk" on guitar and vocals is a veteran of the NYC music scene. He has been a performer on the same bill as Damian Marley and local reggae legend Ossie Dellimore, among others.
