Patricia Silverberg is a raw intelligent powerful folk rock artist with the emotive essences of Natalie Merchant and Tracy Chapman. Her poetically profound lyrics are gracefully teamed with her percussive guitar styling. Her 2012 release, Don’t Look Back has earned her 2 ASCAP Plus Awards. This thought-provoking and moving EP takes listeners on a musical journey from the chaotic streets of NYC to finding one's inner strength while looking at the realities of love and life.
And here is what the reviewers have said Don't Look Back:
“Tell Me Again” is the closing cut. It serves as a final reminder of Silverberg’s capabilities as a songwriter. In truth, every track tells a tuneful tale here. Silverberg, who has opened for top 40 artists, combines her unique vocals with oft’times profound lyrics and one can easily see why she has been invited to showcases in both New York City and Los Angeles. If you don’t already know Patricia Silverberg, “You Should Know” her.”- Will Phoenix, L.A. Examiner (May 28, 2012)
“While the music on Don't Look Back isn't a classic 12-bar blues sound, the listener is pulled into Ms. Silverberg's world by her commanding voice, similar to the deep blues artists of the past.” Bill Mitchell, Blues Bytes (Jun 15, 2012)
