International Music Expo Competition and Showcase coming to Sarasota, Florida The Battle for North America / Music Showcase is a National Battle of the Bands. Our mission is to assist in the search for the next great Indie act or Band. In the process, participating acts/bands may win local awards as well as National Exposure from our National Sponsors. This event will also be a networking opportunity to meet other like-minded musicians, where you can exchange business cards, sell or give away your music, opportunity to get paying gigs, and be seen by agents, managers, venues, and promoters. Although, we still have not completed the 2011 competition season as of this post, or updated the site for 2012, the website is still a valid resource for the 2012 event in terms of general info and Q&A for bands.
