Musicians and friends, If you or someone you know is in a band or a soloist and would be good for a coffee house type setting (small room, more acoustic than electric) and IN THE SANFORD AREA let me know. I am the new youth program director and in April I hope to start a coffee house setting at The Salvation Army in Sanford, FL. We have a game room area, a kitchen connected to the gymnasium and Friday nights from 6pm-8pm to reach out to trouble teens and their friends. We are also praying and working toward doing a year around music conservatory if we can find the musicians to help and if the teens are interested. We have no budget to work with yet but it would really help us get things started here and give the musicians some exposure for future concerts in this area. Wednesday nights are for elementary, middle school and high school ages and Friday nights starting in April will be for teens only (with adult supervision if you are older and want to help).
