Mr. Jason Ranieri is a graduate of Worcester State University (2000) and was Freshman Class President (1993). He graduated Cum Laude in his major, History. He became a certified Massachusetts Educator by passing the Mass. Educator's Exam with a perfect score in Economics (2000). Jason is a "Hero's Among Us" award recipient (2002) from the Boston Celtics organization for playing Santa Claus for the physically and mentally challenged at Wrentham Developmental Center for over 20 years. He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Leadership Academy (2004) and a member of M-power, a lobbyist group, that successfully reinstated Mass. Health coverage of eye and dental exams for those in need through the Mass. House and Senate. Jason was a TV Editor for WPRI 12 6pm and 11pm news, Providence, RI and Fox 64 5pm and 10pm news, Providence, RI. He enlisted in the U.S. Army ROTC program (1995) and was awarded a Department of Defense ID badge. He wrote the poetry book The Good Old World. On 10/01/2019, my poem Fixing to Die, was chosen as a poster for the traveling stanza project by Kent State's Wick Poetry Center in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Kent State shootings. His second book Polka Dots and Politics, (political satire) was a Finalist in three categories (Humor, Comedy and Political Thriller) for the 2019 Best Book Awards and 2019 American Fiction Awards. He wrote the "New World Order: Anything but Orderly and other Reasoning. New World Order: Anything But Orderly And Other Reasoning was an award Finalist for the 2022 American Writer's Award. He composed a self-titled debut CD. He is a vegetarian and Freemason. Jason traveled America for a year and a half.
