The Controversy (about 14 years ago)

I don't even have words to start to describe the experience that was to be part of the Artists in Music Awards 2012 for me and my band The Controversy. The ceremony was beautiful, with artists coming from all over the world to get their awards and/or to perform. Mikey Jayy, executive producer of the awards, is the sweetest host and one of the most caring and independent music lover I've met. My band was nominated for multiple awards and we ended up winning Artist of the Year. Winning this award has been great for us, it has given us recognition and validated our music and our band to make it stand out among the rest. Artists: submit to this opportunity! It's really one of a kind with great people and amazing results. You won't regret it. Promise. From one indie artist to another.
