The Californian label Malevolence Records is that edited patria gem "Our bleeding sun" of the brand-new finalists of the Wacken Metal Battle ABSENTIA. Following the pattern of the quality, although in a completely different style, Malevolence people brings the ultimate KAOS veterans, formed in California in 1987, and have edited seven demos, three albums, a split, a single and now this devastating ep, a small but brutal shows of the most perfectionist Thrash and old school, but at the same time modern thanks to the great sound that have succeeded in this "Validated in blood". The guys know what they are doing, take time, and it shows in their knowledge do. Even his guitarist Kevin Albert (which not recorded this ep) was singing in the mythical DEFIANCE in his last time before breaking up.What offer us KAOS in the 24 minutes that lasts this ep is pure energy, with multiple nuances and aggressive Metal, from hymns as "United we kill" until killer riffs that would move the head of the dead as the of "Blood red eyes" or "Internal bleeding", two topics in which the speed and the more subtle melody join hands in shaping the best of the mini cd. "Alive to die" is the discordant note of the work on the sacrifice of speed for a pace heavy as a steamroller with any note groove which gives a modern air. To finish, marking a tremendous version of "Kill on command", great song in 1988 edited his debut "Eternal nightmare" the excellent group of the pre - MACHINE HEAD Rob Flynn VIO-LENCE, here KAOS her modernized and accelerate so it sounds even better than the original, due to the respect that infuses the Group towards the more aggressive Metal. It is obvious that KAOS sound much like TESTAMENT, KREATOR, EXODUS and others, but is not easy sounding so well and not be a cartoon or one group. This is not the case of these five battling thrashers, they have skills to be recognized once and for all by the public of the aforementioned bands and get the recognition they deserve. I have to say that a very high percentage of Thrash groups that sprout which daisies in spring thanks to the revival of the style seem opportunistic and nothing interesting. In this little more new style can bring, but note that there are people who leads the Thrash in the blood and knows that transmit excellently. KAOS is one of those groups, which thanks to the intense promotion that are doing with them both Malevolence and his manager Michelle Murray (of which many "managers" should learn from her honesty and supporting the underground) are becoming slowly a hole in this saturated scene.KAOS deserve its place, that much is clear, you @ s you now decide if you agree with me. Do with this great ep and prepares you to move your head.Related entriesABSENTIA - Our bleeding sun, 2011
