Back again today & I listened to Lord I Come, Ps 86 - Teach Me Your Ways, and Luke 13 - I Must Walk. I liked them all but was really surprised by I Must Walk. What a great song! Love your music, my friend. Blessings, Steve
Hi Steve, just a reply... thanks for your thoughts! it's great to get feedback on these song ideas, especially from another talented song-writer. I guess I'm kinda crazy, I skim through the Bible, and when an idea comes I just go for it. The initial hook idea for Luke 13 was "Go and tell that fox..." then later I decided to add the narration of the Scripture to explain things. And then I thought, yes Jerusalem and the Israeli people need to figure things out and say to Jesus "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord" -- (especially with all the crazy stuff going on in Egypt right now.) I like listening to that one also. I have some poetry I want to set, and a bunch of other ideas, just can't get into the "record" mode for some reason... anyway, enough. Please keep writing and creating... you are an inspiration, brother! Blessings
I cannot remember when I have heard a prettier song than Leaf In the Wind... What awesome lyrics & melody... Beautiful story... Very well performed, too.
Thank you, Steve! Such a nice comment you posted! And I must tell you... YOU are my favorite artist to visit, listen and be uplifted and blessed. May God abundantly bless you, my friend!
Hi Tom, thanks for stopping by and having a listen. I've just had a listen to your rendition of Psalm 24 ... I like it a lot ... and it has inspired me to resurrect my take on Psalm 24 verses 1 - 6 which mean a great deal to me personally. I'll be back again soon! Blessings! †
Love the 'old world / new world' feel of The Brown Mouse Song...and the guitar work is wonderful. Really enjoyed the style, lyrics and message...makes you weep for 'O mankind'... Great song!
