What I value most in a good documentary film, is that the music will match the quality of the film. You have fully achieved with the music of "Living Death Valley." This makes the film even better. Furthermore, if the music works apart (and it do it), that's art.
I really like the way you mix instruments of the world into the soundscape. You create a fascinating rich tapestry of sound and culture. Living Death Valley is extraordinary. Bravo.
Hi John :)
I really like your music, my friend.
A nice set of compositions and arrangements here.
I like the journeys they take me on.
Kind Regards,
Jim Robson.
Hey John,
Your music is very expressive, the production is top notch and the musical content is rich and keeps ones interest. Thank you for putting up a page here on Reverb Nation, I'm happy to be one of your fans.
Sincerly,
Troy Lennerd.
Hi John
Yes I certainly, gladly and sincerely become a fan. I really can see why you won the Moon Film Festival. Your music is very visual. It is very understated and at times an almost arid sphere which I believe is where your power lies, because it builds tension. If people really want people to hear what they are saqying, they shouldn't shout, but whisper. Excellent job John, and i wish you TONS of success. You deserve it.

'Living Death Valley'is very powerful and evocative, with unusual juxtapositions...the integration of image and music is also stunning. I look forward to hearing more of your work!
John's composition holds many surprising elements. One moment it's ethereal textures and the next it's tribal drums and electronic stutters. Extremely imaginative, complex, original and moving. Excellent works!
"Living Death Valley" is incredible! I enjoyed listening to all of your songs and then watching the videos. Your compositions seem to "dance" with the film in an elegant, yet spirited manner. Brilliant work, John!
