It’s time to say goodbye, we’re facing a harsh Russian winter. The sun leaves the sky the birds are gone. The Winter with all it’s despair, and cold darkness falls over the land. The blizzards are trying to blow our faith away.
Prepare for this when you listen to ‘Birdless Heavens’ by Oprich. Fierce drums, dark deep and somewhat sad male vocals, distorted guitar and clean guitar paint a picture of a harsh and desolate winter-landscape. Nice folk-instruments mainly flute, bring us a little hope in this darkness.
In Valedictory Hymn we get to say goodbye to the green leaves, the sparkling waters, the hope…
In The First Wintry Touches you can feel the first encounters with this dark time of the year. You feel cold when the beautiful guitar creates shivers down your spine even the flute gets melancholic in this track. In the end we give up and let the winter cover us.
You can hear the blizzard in This Light And Joyous Death when the winters reigns over the lands like beautiful but harsh mistress.
Nice folkloric sounds at the start of Beldam-Snowstorm give us hope and strength to face this storm of icy snow which tries to bury us deep.
The Sit’-River tells paints a picture of a battlefield in the snow, where dead bodies lie all around and blood is colouring the snow. How great can despair be? The wounds of these heroic warriors are only covered by the wings of ravens.
You can image the stillness of cold winter with all his jewellery of frozen water everywhere in The Prophetic. But there they are.. the first rays of the sun, giving it all a glittering light.
And in Soon, Very Soon! Hope is back, there’s time to feast, life is coming back.
Pagan metal at it’s best, Oprich paints the harsh wintertime of Russia for us. You can completely get lost in this picture of winter. You can almost feel the cold coming at the end of the warm season, you can shiver with the torturing icy winds, but when you close your eyes, you can also see the first sun-rays through the trees. And get joyful when the wheel of time has made another turn.
Beautiful painted by this great pagan band from Russia.

"The album is put together thoroughly and is well thought through. Despite the fact this are three different band, the songs fit together perfectly and make the album a whole. It’s a pity the first six tracks are a little bit muted. The tracks of Chur sound a bit brighter. But the fact remains it’s a wonderful project. Again a ‘must-have’ for the fans of this genre." http://www.folk-metal.nl/2012/06/triunity-2012/

Casus Belli Musica and Svarogovo Kolo Distro are happy to inform that their work on the conceptual project “Triunity” (feat. OPRICH, CHUR and PIAREVARACIEN) is almost finished. At the moment the whole musical material of the bands is recorded, and their promo samples will be uploaded to the label’s and bands’ sites soon.
We would remind you that the project “Triunity” is to express historical solidarity of our Slavonic nations and their kinship of cultural roots, and at the same time underline the unique features of each nation's heritage. The album will include previously unreleased songs of the bands.
The CD will be released as limited edition hand-numbered digipack and its booklet will be designed by Kogaion Art.

A work over unique common musical project of VITER and Ukrainian medieval ensemble KINGS & BEGGARS comes to the end. An audio CD will be a result of this united work. It will include common and separate records of both bands.
There are more than 20 different folk and medieval instruments were used during the recording session. The main idea behind this project was an experimental synthesis of the Ukrainian folk music and the medieval & European traditional music and contemporary rock styles.
The project name is “Diva Ruzha”. More detailed information will be published soon.

VITER was formed in spring of 2010, although the band members were not newcomers in music, and each of them had musical experience obtained in famous groups (Dragobrath, Capitollium, Ruina, Kroda, Apostate, Leadhaze, Ambivalence).
Immediately after the formation the band started active work, and, as a result, a mini-album “Dzherelo” was recorded in the beginning of summer, 2010.
VITER is the music inspired by the greatness of Carpathian Mountains, it is their voice reflected in every note, in every sound. Tunes of VITER are saturated with fragrance of highland grasses, mountain spring-well water, winds bearing forest coldness. Soil and Air, Fire and Water have merged together on this debut mini-album. Listen to the song of Elements, hark to their voice, feel the Power of the Spring-Well!
