DigitalVinyl is a new industry leading artist consultation & marketing company based in Miami and New York.
Our mission is to help Independent record companies, artists and artist management navigate the ever-changing music industry landscape and effectively execute their vision. We can tailor our services to suit your needs. We work with independent labels in a product management capacity, and also work with artists directly to provide hands-on support and help build a team on an as needed basis.
DigitalVinyl also provides hourly consulting services that may be more affordable for the developing artist. We can customize a plan that outlines steps you need to take to execute your own vision.
Open Mic & Industry Mixer @O'Malley's in Margate, FL on Mondays (Weekly)
There is no pre-registration- just come in and sign up! The sign up sheet goes out about an hour or so before open mic begins, (9pm) and order is determined on a first come/first serve basis. First spot on the list gets an extra song! Fee is $10 to perform.
Each performer is allowed two songs. (3-4 mins each song) Performers that don't use "songs" (comedians, poets, improvisational music, etc) are allowed up to 5-7 minutes for their set (we give them a five minute warning to let them know they need to wrap things up in the next 1-2 minutes).
All singers & rappers must have a SHOW MIX (ad-libs are okay) NO EXCEPTIONS!
USB & CD are accepted (no cell phone aux will be permitted).
There is a (15) performance slot maximum (You must sign in by 9:45pm to be eligible to perform).
Our event will adhere to a strict schedule. Please respect the time of others.
There will be a CD/USB drop-box provided for artists that wish to use it.
WE PROVIDE: The PA system (mics, speakers, etc), guitar cables, a host/sound engineer. Experienced Music Industry A&R executive. Occasionally there are musicians hanging around to play for you if you are a singer without an accompanist.
WE DON'T PROVIDE: Guitars, amps, drums. Unless you are a singer or pianist, bring your own stuff! Our format is best suited to solo and small group performances with acoustic instruments (guitar, bass, etc). We do not recommended full bands, however we will allow it as long as the musicians are respectful of others' time and space (and play at a respectful volume for the audience). Drummers must bring in their drums before open mic begins (9pm) and set them up off to the side as to make for a speedy transition and not disrupt others' performances. Due to the logistics involved.
Open mic show begins at 10pm SHARP and goes until the night dies down (usually 1am).
18+ to participate (You will be provided with a tamper evident wristband, if removed you will be banned from the venue).
21+ to drink
EVERYONE MUST HAVE ID TO ENTER VENUE. NO EXCEPTIONS!
There is a one drink or one appetizer minimum for guests. Please support the venue!
This is a NETWORKING event more than anything else. Artists are welcome to pass out flyers and other marketing material that represents their brand. Competitive flyers for other similar events on the same night as our event are not permitted and you will be asked to leave the property.
