WELCOME TO INDEPENDENT MUSIC PLUGGING
Technology has given musicians the ability to distribute their music worldwide with a few clicks of the mouse, but that is not usually enough to guarantee selling much music. Releasing music and then hoping people stumble across it is not a very productive strategy.
Promotion is still a very work intensive process which is why big acts reserve a sizable percentage of their budget for PR and advertising. A PR campaign greatly increases the chance of success through greater airplay, use in adverts, magazine and other press interviews and reviews, plus online adverts.
The vast majority of people have neither the time nor the money to do anything like this and with more and more bands online every day all trying to get attention for their music means that radio, magazines and anywhere else that bands can gain exposure, becomes inundated with unknown acts.
I have set up Independent Music Plugging to bridge the gap between doing it yourself and using a major PR company. What makes it easier for me is that I am already known by very many radio stations TV channels and magazines etc from the promotion that I have done over the last 5 years for the UK band Cling.
I have now decided to offer my services to bands and artists and I am looking for a few select bands to promote, initially I will do a few free submissions so you can try before you buy, as I am confident you will be happy with the results and be happy to continue at a reasonable rate.
If you have music or a music video to promote contact me to discuss your requirements and get a no obligation promotion plan along with some free submissions.
