Production began this week...

Hey everybody...so we started working on the new cd this week. We had a video shoot on Monday for the upcoming KICKSTARTER campaign to fund the new PURE jazz release. Fans who contribute will be able to help name the cd. FAYOLA likes the title "Lil Ella" but I really like "Ella-ments" Well we'll see. More details on the Kickstarter soon... Summertime and the living is easy...

The summer of 2013 is quickly coming to a close but I've truly enjoyed. My boring yet stressful full time job ended on July 2nd a day after my determination to be "outta there" by July 1st so yeah me!!! I immediately put GAR-enterprises into full effect. FAYOLA started her Unplugged and Jazzed Up tour with a stop at Harlem Library as part of the Make Music New York Day. 2 self produced shows followed at South Oxford Space in Brooklyn. Then we on to be a part of the Jamaica Arts and Music Festival's JAMS Under the Stars in Rufus King Park. Last week, she played at the world famous, Shrine in Harlem...so we've been busy. We're looking forward to other shows in the Fall and work on the Jazz release will begin...so stay tuned.
