CINCINNATI, OH. On November 22, 2011 JM Management Inc. was proud to announce the signing of Cleveland native Royel Urban. Although he was already on the radar and many are aware of him in various parts of the Ohio music scene, this Hip-Hop lyricist was identified as a strong prospect after his performance at the 5th Annual New England Music Seminar, October 2011, Hartford, CT. Royel chose to perform in his underwear. Shocking to many, but definitely proves that he is willing to go above and beyond, exceeding expectations for the sake of expressing his art.
Royel comes from a family of music. He is a rare breed and makes it hard for those who classify themselves as “just lyricists” or “just club” artists. He’s proven that one can do it all, rap, sing and write to name some of his strengths. These attributes mixed in with Royel’s humble and genuine approach to presenting himself, are great not just for his brand or public appearances, they’re fantastic traits for building a loyal fan-base.
Currently, Royel is getting ready to put the finishing touches on the official launch for his next single, “October Sky”, an upbeat track. This song speaks about moving way beyond your limits, feeling on top of the world, because the sky is within your reach. With his unique sound, Royel has managed to create his own genre of music he labels “Urban Alternative Hip-Hop/Rap” which combines the progressive uplifting message most associated with the Hip-Hop genre and an Urban Mainstream sound. Being an Independent Artist is providing Royel with the playground to experiment with his creativity in the journey to finding his true path.

R&B Artist Devonte Singer Raises the Pulse with His New Single “Work It”

When asked about the influence behind the music: "Self-discovery influenced the lyrics. This past summer I made a lot of growth as a performer and songwriter. The long awaited moment has arrived. Today we release the “Losing Control” from Devonte’s new project “Ambition”.
