James Otto is an American country music artist who is a member of the MuzikMafia, a group of country musicians known for their "country music without prejudice". Otto began his career on Mercury Nashville Records in 2002, charting three minor singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts and recording his debut album Days of Our Lives for the label before being dropped in 2004.

In late 2007, he signed to Warner Bros. Records. His second album, Sunset Man, was released in April 2008. It was produced by John Rich (of Big & Rich) and Jay DeMarcus (of Rascal Flatts), the latter of whom is Otto's brother-in-law. The lead-off single to Sunset Man, "Just Got Started Lovin' You", became Otto's first Number One hit, as well as the Number One country single of 2008 according to Billboard.

The best track will be selected and released on a record label. Also a Beatport account for the artist/producer/dj will be created which is a milestone for every musician out there.

The producer will also have 100% royalties on his original track and also a small percentage from sales of K1nk's remix as per contract received by the record company. A promo blast will also be present at no extra cost to: radio contacts, Dj's and media for reactions and comments .

Submit to Southern California Underground Competition

Southern California Underground (SCU) is a dynamic business providing opportunity for up-and-coming bands to get noticed in the music industry and the community at large. This competition was designed as a platform for serious artists to be seen and heard. It is run like no other battle of the bands competition in the world, expecting to reel in close to 1,000 attendees. Prizes include $5000 cash, studio time and more.

This competition, which will be held in August, was made for bands who are ready to compete on a professional level. Bands will build awareness and fans, walk the red-carpet, have pictures in the press, receive start up funds, recording studio time and more.

Here's how it works: 1. Serious bands submit their demos to SCU through Music Xray 2. SCU will select bands to audition live. All bands auditioning will perform 2 songs and be judged by top music professionals. 3. 30 bands will make it to the semi-finals and perform 1 new and 1 previous song for the judges. 4. The 10 bands having the best score will be showcased at the Main Event and compete to win prizes and the Underground "Band of the Year" Award. 5. The Main Event is open to the public. At the Event, 90% of each band's score is determined by the judges while 10% is audience votes.

PRIZES: 1st Place: $5,000 and 10 hours of recording studio time at Atlantis Group 2nd Place: $1,000 3rd Place: $500 more prizes TBA.
