He finally gets an opportunity to make a big score, when his cousin, Baxter, talks local drug king pin, Mr. Bigelow aka Mr. Bigs into letting Ace unload a shipment of cocaine. However when the drugs are stolen he has just days to come up with Bigelow’s money or drugs, or... well, you know. Needs gospel/blues music!

On Friday, February 10th, 2012 (during Grammy's week) the All Indie Music Awards will take the stage at the famous Key Club located on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, CA. Freed helped bridge the gap between Rhythm & Blues and helped it become a part of mainstream music.
